Professional drift driver Japan

Ben Odgers

Ben Odgers is the co-owner of Drift Japan Tours and founder of Kevin Bell Mechanical, a performance workshop in Wynnum, QLD. His drifting journey began in 2017 at the iconic Archerfield Drift Park, where grassroots competition shaped his driving style, sharpened his mechanical instincts, and sparked the friendship with Benkei Bruin that later became the foundation of Drift Japan Tours.

Since turning professional in 2021, Ben has established himself as a rising force in top-level drifting. Known for his aggressive yet calculated style, he has already secured a string of standout results:

- Winner of Round 1 – Eastern Drift Championships
- Multiple podium finishes in Hi-Tec Drift All Stars
- 14th overall in his rookie season of the 2025 D1NZ Pro Championship

Off the track, Ben leads Kevin Bell Mechanical, where he and his team build and maintain high-performance drift and street cars. From grassroots builds to competitive machines, his workshop has produced cars that consistently perform at the highest levels. His own 2JZ-powered S15 is a prime example, built in-house and proven on the podium.

With a deep love for Japanese car culture and years of hands-on experience as both a competitor and builder, Ben brings a unique blend of technical expertise and driving skill to Drift Japan Tours. What began as grassroots competition at Archerfield has grown into an international operation, dedicated to guiding the next generation of drivers through sim, track, and cultural immersion.

Whether he’s turning wrenches or steering into full lock, Ben Odgers is all in — committed to the craft, the culture, and the community that define drifting.
